The Kuhli loach is a small, peaceful eel like loach, Very popular fish for small aquarium due to its playful and active behavior, especially  active during feeding.   The coloration of the body makes it an attractive fish and easy to spot in the aquarium, it is dark brown in color with uneven orange stripes throughout the length of the body.   The fish get full grown at around 2.5. The fish is small in nature and primarily live at the bottom of the aquarium. Will eat all food, adapts well in wide range of water parameters. Ph of 6.5 -8.5, temperature range of 76-84 F and does well in soft and/or hard water. Does well in nano tanks and planted aquarium with small peaceful community fish, such as tetras, guppies, endlers, shrimps and corydoras.  This fish will be hard to see in aquarium larger than 55 gallon, better suited for smaller aquariums.
